Manchester Branch Employs 9 Permanant Contractors

Christopher James General Contractors (Manchester) are proud to annouce the appointment of 9 additional personell as of week commencing 7th January 2008.

This employment opportunity was created as a result of our partnership with GM Procure and George Jones Painter Decorators Ltd.

The new members of our team join our property maintenance division and range in skill level from Qualified Painter Decorators to Trainee Aprentices.

All will be working intially alongside George Jones Painter Decorators in the external painting of 600 dwellings owned and managed by Trafford Housing Trust.

As part of our commitment to the training and development of our employees, all will be embarking on NVQ training over the course of the next few months.

Christopher James General Contractors Ltd is proud to announce that in January 2008 our Manchester Office will be working on a number of projects with GM Procure and George Jones and Sons Ltd.

The first phase of the initiative will see Christopher James create 4 new employment Positions in Manchester with a view to increasing our Manchester workforce by a further 6 people over the coming 12 months.

Christopher James will be Partnering up with Main Contractor George Jones and Sons Ltd, to carry out External Paintworks to a substantial number of tenancies owned by Trafford Housing Trust thought the Greater Manchester Area.

Managing Director Chris Afful says "we see this as a tremendous opportunity to create employment and career opportunities for people within the Greater Manchester area. Our aim over the course of the next 5 years is to steadily grow the business's workforce to 50 qualified tradesmen able to address all aspects of Property Maintenance, Repair and Development."

We are keen to hear from anyone living in the Greater Manchester area who is interested in joining our Property Development Team. We want to recruit people with previous experience and we also have a training programme for people without experience.
